Why not come to one of our rehearsals?

We meet on Thursday evenings at 7.00 pm for 7.15 pm. at St. Paul the Apostle, Ashby High Street, Ashby. DN16 3DL. You don’t have to be an opera singer to join, just someone who enjoys singing. Experienced singers are equally welcome.

We are looking for people who are keen to contribute to the team effort; who are able to commit to reasonably regular attendance at rehearsals, and who would enjoy both the musical and social life which the choir offers.  Management and finance

• The choir is registered as a charity by the Charities Commission and is bound by an adopted Rules and Constitution.Please see page 7 of Member’s Handbook. It is managed by a Committee elected at the Annual General Meeting, held within 8 weeks of the end of the Choir’s financial year (December 31st)
• The Choir is financed by income generated from member’s subscriptions, a weekly lottery, fees levied for concerts performed, the generosity of our Patron, The Lord St Oswald, and by some sponsorship.
• Annual subscriptions, payable during January are currently £180.00. This can either be paid as a lump sum or by monthly instalments.
